About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Hairdresser to join our vibrant team at our salon in Carrara, Queensland. As a part-time Senior Hairdresser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our valued clients, while also mentoring and developing our junior hairstylists.

This part-time role requires availability for [25-30] hours per week, typically scheduled between [Wendsday-Saturday / 9-17.30 ]

What you'll be doing

Providing high-quality haircuts, coloring, styling, and other hair services to clients

Consulting with clients to understand their needs and desired look, and providing expert recommendations

Learning and staying up to date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products by using company portal courses

Extensions knowledge or willing to learn

Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a professional and safe environment

Contributing to the overall success and growth of the salon

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Hairdresser in a professional salon environment

Excellent technical skills in cutting, colouring, and styling hair

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional client service

Passion for the hair and beauty industry, and a commitment to continuous learning

Ability to work collaboratively with the team and contribute to a positive salon culture

Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent

• Must be in QLD for Interview

Must have current working rights in Australia

Proven expertise in balayage, highlights, lowlights, and color correction techniques

Current Queensland hairdressing license or ability to obtain one
