The Townsville RSL Group is looking for Chefs to join the Kitchen team and have the opportunity to work at either Townsville RSL and Thuringowa RSL to be mentored by Executive Chef, Rodney Smith has a wealth of experience working across Australia and various cuisines in 5 Star hotels to exclusive club environments.
Qualifications & experience
Qualified chef/cook
Experience in fast paced environments
A la 'carte experience
History of high standards and attention to detail
Reliable, presentable, punctual and most of all a team player
Willingness to progress and drive change within the organization
Versatile in all areas including fryer, grill and plate up
Have input into daily specials
Working with apprentices and training
Tasks & responsibilities
Prepare and cook high quality food according to menu guidelines
Help to create good communication between floor and kitchen staff
Assist with training of apprentices
Follow correct hygienic handling practices
Use safe work practices
Drive and passion to grow within the venue
Work as a team player and enjoy like minded team members

38 hour week, weekly pay and paid overtime.
