Join a dynamic data team driving cloud innovation at scale! We’re looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to help design, build, and optimise modern data platforms on AWS and Azure.

They efficiently deliver cashflow solutions in a market underserved by the major banks and through their platform, small businesses can obtain affordable loans in a much more convenient and customer-friendly way.

The Role

Reporting to a seasoned Head of Data and Analytics, you will be responsible for maintaining, deploying and debugging the company's cloud stacks and ensuring the security of cloud analytics and reporting infrastructure.

You’ll work on critical projects, working closely with varied teams and stakeholders including product, risk, collection, sales and analytics —building data pipelines, automating infrastructure, developing and maintaining cloud solutions and enabling smarter business decisions through advanced analytics and engineering best practices.

About You

• 4-5+ years of experience within cloud / data engineering preferably within financial services or fin-tech company a big plus!
• Practical experience in cloud data platforms (AWS) and database/ data lake/data warehouse (Snowflake) solutions.
• Good grasp of SysOps and infrastructure as code (Terraform) a big plus!
• Strong skills in Python, PySpark, SQL and experience with BI tools.
• Technical understanding of SaaS platforms and agile methodology and business processes a big plus!
• Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders from broad cross-functional teams.
