About the role

Casual opportunity to performs a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Pharmacist in Queensland.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Develop clinical practice knowledge and skills through continuing work towards completion of a tertiary qualification in Pharmacy as recognised by the Australian Health Profession Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Work cooperatively within the Pharmacy Department and greater multidisciplinary team to support provision of patient centred care.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the interprofessional team using negotiation and conflict resolution as required. Use effective communication skills to contribute to consumer care and progress, including relevant clinical documentation.
