Casual Mechanical Fitter – 7 Day Shutdown
Location: South Eastern suburbs
Duration: 7 Days
Start Date: 2nd August - 9th August

Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate + penalties
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Mechanical Fitters to assist with a short-term shutdown project running for 7 days. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-managed shutdown with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out maintenance and repair work on fixed plant and mechanical equipment
• Dismantling, inspecting, and reassembling machinery to meet shutdown requirements
• Following site safety procedures and contributing to a safe work environment
• Working effectively with other trades and supervisors to meet deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

• Recognised Mechanical Fitting Trade Qualification (Cert III or equivalent)
• Previous experience in shutdowns, maintenance, or heavy industry
• Valid Confined Space and Working at Heights (must be current)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
