The Company

Australia Wide Trades Recruitment are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our client, whose engineering and service excellence has been proven time and again across a range of enterprises. Each and every project they undertake is delivered on time and on budget, with the knowledge that each task is performed to an exceptional standard.

The position requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Assembly, installation & commissioning of production lines at a major client site
• Mechanical fault finding and basic fabrication tasks
• Building trusting relationships with the client by demonstrating solid problem-solving & organisational skills in a professional manner
• Strictly following all required safety and GMP procedures

To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following:

• A mechanical trade qualification is essential
• Proven experience with machinery installs and commissioning in a manufacturing environment
• White card essential, working at heights & EWP & forklift licence advantageous
• A team player with a positive, self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with a high attention to detail

Hours and Rates

Day shift hours, 7am-3pm, Monday to Friday
$55 per hour + super + overtime
