About the role

We are seeking an experienced Music Coordinator to join the College and provide administrative support to the Extra-Curricular Music Program. This role involves working closely with students, parents, tutors and staff to ensure the successful coordination of music lessons, activities and events. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting student engagement in the arts.

Duties

As a Music Coordinator, you will:

Respond to enquiries and liaise with parents and music tutors regarding the Music program

Issue student music contracts and instrument hire agreements, ensuring accurate records

Maintain and update music tutor database allocating students with tutors and ensembles

Assist with all aspects of the organisation and execution of Extra-Curricular Music Program events

Actively promote the College’s Extra-Curricular Music Program

Provide administrative support across the department as required

Skills and experience required

Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)

High-level organisational and time management skills

Ability to demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Show initiative and be able to work independently and in a team environment

Possession of or the ability to acquire a current Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
