About the Job

• Full time position Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM
• Office location could not be better for public transport – located right about the bustling Fortitude Valley Train Station. Please note this position is full time in office with no work from home.
• Be the often first point of contact for recoveries – engaging with third parties, insurers or vehicle hirers to collect details about incidents.
• Engage in conversation about liability disputes, using your exceptional conflict management skills.
• Process administrative support such as recovery deposits, invoice payments, proof of loss management and other tasks on an as needs basis.
• Follow clear escalation guidelines, passing complex recovery conversations onto senior staff members.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as senior claims and recoveries consultants, often assisting in workload management.
• Opportunity for you to develop into a senior recoveries position over time.

About you

• Strong experience in the motor insurance industry across claims and recoveries.
• You are a confident dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, with a knack for being comfortable and engaging on the phone.
• Exceptional conflict resolution skills, and the ability to control conversations.
• Strong computer literacy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Positive and motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• A strong understanding of road rules and the ability to interpret incident scenarios.
