The Shelter Collective is a Central Qld charity dedicated to creating solutions to homelessness.

We are about to launch our new Mobile Outreach Bus Initiative (MOBi) which will deliver critical supports to people experiencing homelessness, including food, showers, laundry, and support services. In preparation of this new service, we require an experienced program facilitator who can develop this service to ensure effective delivery and impactful outcomes. Ideally, we are looking for someone who will work over three months to facilitate this service from design through to implementation, creating an efficient operational model, exploring sustainability opportunities and effecting collaborative relationships with our many stakeholders and volunteers.

This opportunity would be offered as a short-term, fixed contract preferably under a consultant contract with ABN, but we are open to other arrangements for the right person. Flexible working hours are offered and can be negotiated with the right candidate.

There are some essential requirements for the role and these are:

must currently live in Rockhampton and have demonstrated local networks and connections

must have demonstrated experience in hands-on program implementation; an action focused individual is preferred!

must have experience working in the human services sector and understands how to work effectively with vulnerable people.

must have a current Qld Blue Card, or can obtain quickly.

We do require the successful applicant to start as soon as possible.
