Our client is a leader in their field, a multi-disciplinary design, project management and principal contractor specialising in the major civic infrastructure and event projects. With continued strategic growth on a national scale including the recent delivery of the Australian Grand Prix (F1), they seek to enhance their operations with the appointment of a junior Draftsperson for their Melbourne operations.

A newly created position, you will be an integral and key member of the design and project team, producing and maintaining detailed design drawings for projects including the F1, Avalon AirShow, Australian Open Tennis, and other national events such as the Adelaide and Gold Coast 500, and LIV Golf. Responsibilities will include:

· Master planning

· Detailed design of temporary structures

· Detailed structure layouts and scoping plans

· Corporate Suite layouts

· Circuit infrastructure

· Sketches as required

· Parks management and protection drawings

· Contractor work zones

· Scoping documents including specifications for works

· Engineering drawings

Possessing relevant tertiary qualifications and 1 - 2+ years in design drafting in architectural, structures or infrastructure projects, you will be a detailed and driven individual eager to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Displaying exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you will be a strong team player who enjoys working on a variety of projects. Experience in using AutoCAD is essential, with Revit viewed favourably.

While focused on Melbourne projects initially, there are opportunities to work and attend other major projects nationally. Future career opportunities in the business could see you involved in design, procurement, site management, project management.
