The Centre
Our Berwick Waters centre is rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standards by the ACECQA, an amazing achievement which showcases the team’s commitment to providing the highest quality care and education.
Located within Melbourne’ growing Cranbourne community, the centre has already formed connections with local businesses, shops, and primary schools in the area. With community at the heart of everything we do at Aspire, our centre’s host a range of community events, internal celebrations and cultural programs throughout the year for families. These events ensure the children can be part of the community throughout their entire early learning journey.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities
As a Centre Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Centre, encompassing staff management, budget oversight, and effective communication with families, employees & internal stakeholders.
You will be working in partnership with our Head of Curriculum to lead a high performing team to strive for and provide the highest quality care and education for all children, families, staff and the community. As a Centre Manager, you will ensure a smooth and safe child & family experience and nurture a positive and inclusive culture that encourages collaboration.
About you
Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Children's services
Must have minimum 4 years previous Centre Manager experience
Previous experience in driving change and creating a positive impact with-in the centre and community
Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
Current Working with Children check, Police Check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Safety Supervisor certificate
