About the role

Tetris Group is looking for a casual Trade Assistant to join our team in Yatala, QLD. In this role, you will provide valuable support to our skilled tradespeople, ensuring the efficient completion of projects. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital part in contributing to the overall success of the Tetris Group.

What you'll be doing

Assisting tradespeople with various tasks on construction sites

Operating light and heavy commercial vehicles, to transport materials and equipment

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition

Following safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself and others on site

Providing general labour support as needed to complete projects on time and to the highest standards

What we're looking for

Experience working as a trade assistant or in a similar construction support role

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and situations
