An opportunity is available for a highly motivated individual to work with one of our clients who are considered to be both an employer of choice and a true Bundaberg icon.

We are currently on the search for a fit, motivated Trade Assistant to join the maintenance team during the crushing season.

Some key responsibilities will include:

Assisting tradespeople with rail maintenance and repair work

Use of hand and power tools

Basic MIG/TIG welding

Manual handling of rail components and materials

General site clean-up and safety checks

About You:

Welding experience (MIG/TIG or Stick) – required

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions

Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team

Strong commitment to safety and reliability

Previous rail or heavy industry experience (advantageous but not essential)

Able to pass D&A Screening
