We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to be involved in securing a broad range of diverse and exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for landscaping, pool construction, and light civil works

Tender/bid on a diverse range of projects including:

Residential landscapes and pools

Council and public open space upgrades

Commercial and mixed-use developments

Education sector projects (schools, early learning centres)

Aged care and healthcare facilities

Multi-unit developments and townhouses

Recreational parks and sports facilities

Review and interpret plans, specifications, and tender documents

Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate quoting

Prepare bid submissions and detailed cost breakdowns

Maintain and update pricing tools and estimating databases

Contribute to winning tenders by providing timely, accurate, and competitive estimates

Proactively network and help build relationships with potential clients and aligned construction professionals to generate new business opportunities

About You

Minimum 4 years of experience as an Estimator in landscaping, building, pool construction, or light civil works

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market rates

Experience or interest in client engagement, networking, and business development

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in quantity take-offs and pricing

Proficient with estimating software such as Buildxact, CostX, Excel, or similar

Confident communicator with strong time management skills

Capable of working independently and meeting tight deadlines

Flexibility & Working Arrangements

This role offers remote work flexibility – you can complete most estimating tasks from your own workspace

We do expect regular catch-ups and pricing review meetings, either in person or virtually, to align with the team and ensure project accuracy
