Are you an inspiring leader with experience in new Early Childhood centre setups? We’re looking for a passionate and driven Centre Director to establish and lead our brand new, purpose-built St Nicholas Early Education Centre in beautiful Forster, NSW.

About the Role
As the Centre Director, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our new service to life. You’ll lead all aspects of the setup and operation, including:
Procurement of resources and equipment
Family engagement and relationship building within the local Forster community
Recruitment and onboarding of a passionate and dedicated team
Overseeing general establishment tasks for a smooth and successful opening
Once the centre is operational, you will continue to provide strong leadership and ensure compliance, quality, and care are maintained at the highest standards.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Centre Director role
- Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
- Demonstrated knowledge of services requirements of the CCSS (childcare subsidy system) and ability to perform software application for compliance.
- Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Demonstrated ability to successfully support the Early Learning Years Framework with the centre curriculum
- Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education Centre
- Demonstrated success in new centre setups or service launches (desirable)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Children’s Services or Degree in Early Childhood Teaching as identified by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Working with Children Check verification number
- NSW Department of Education approved child protection training certificate
