Are you available to help support a team of Aged Care Professionals as they transition to the Support at Home program?
Change is constant, particularly in the Aged Care sector at the moment. Understandably our team are doing their best to navigate the changes required and will benefit from an interim manager to help them to continue providing excellent services to their clients while they implement the new changes.
As the interim Community Services Manager for this Not for Profit provider of Aged Care Service you will report directly to the Director of Clinical Services and the CEO
Your responsibilities will include:
- Management of a team comprising of Clinical Teams, Admin staff, Direct Care Workforce, CHSP Social Support.
- Ensure implementation of up-to-date legislation. Keeping staff informed of these updates.
- Participate in network groups, workshops and forums as required.
- Maintaining a high standard of care across Community/HomeCare and Social Support
- Advising staff regarding completion of Care Plans, ensuring they meet all sector requirements
- Support staff regarding compliance to meet the Aged Care standards
To be considered for this assignment you will need:
- Current AHPRA- Registered Nurse qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting a team of aged care professionals
- Comprehensive knowledge of Aged Care standards and legislation, specifically the Support at Home initiatives
- Practical knowledge of accreditation and quality management
- Up to Date COVID and Flu vaccinations
- Unrestricted Drivers Licence
- A National Police check that is less than 12 months old
- Current Working with Childrens Check
