ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

G4S is seeking a highly motivated and strategically focused Senior Manager to oversee a high-profile client relationship and manage multisite justice operations across the Northern Territory, primarily in Darwin CBD and Palmerston. Reporting to Ali, General Manager for Justice & Enforcement for G4S Australia & New Zealand, you'll lead a dedicated team of frontline professionals within a dynamic and complex operational environment, supported by a local Operations Manager. The position is primarily based in Darwin with regular travel to sites in the Darwin area. With full P&L responsibility, the Manager - Justice Services NT will drive the commercial performance of the contract and collaborate closely with central services teams including HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, L&D, IT, Financial, and Commercial.

The role will deliver sustainable financial performance for G4S, growth, value for customers, and a benchmark for similar services across Australia. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of strategic foresight, stakeholder management in a highly sensitive sector, and a proven track record in managing more complex and impactful operations.

Key Objectives

  • Create and manage an effective safety system that keeps our teams safe.
  • Ensure G4S is a trusted partner to our customers - deliver obligations, manage change and scope, build strong and constructive relationships.
  • Year on year Growth in revenue and margin %
  • Deliver budget for the contract - Revenue, margin %, EBITDA, cash
  • Build a constructive relationship with the G4S teams.

Essential Requirements

We're primarily looking for individuals with demonstrated skills and experience in:

  • Senior level Stakeholder Management (Corrections or Security Industries is desirable).
  • Strategic planning and vision development.
  • Effective people management and team leadership.
  • Commercial and financial management.
  • Collaboration and influencing in complex environments.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Personal resilience and strong leadership qualities.
  • Leading operations, accounts, contracts, safety, and industrial relations.

We strongly value local knowledge, though your location won't be a barrier. Relocation support is available for successful candidates outside of Darwin.
