Are you a passionate and energetic Childcare leader with experience supporting school-aged children and managing behavioural needs? We’re looking for a dedicated OSHC Support Mentor/Coordinator to help lead a growing new service near Cranbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role with the support of an Area Manager, with clear pathways to further progression.

Key Details:

• Morning Shift: 6:30am – 9:00am
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 6:30pm

• Permanent Full- time opportunity- Block Shifts available!
• Hours: Monday to Friday
  
• Service size: Up to 90 children (1:10 ratio)
• Direct reports: 2x Full- time 2ICs
• New service recently opened – join a supportive team from the ground up!

What You’ll Do:

• Mentor and support educators in daily practice and programming
• Lead by example in managing challenging behaviours and implementing tailored strategies
• Build strong relationships with families and school communities
• Support the Area Manager in overseeing the operational and compliance needs of the service
• Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe environment for all children

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma (or working towards) in Early Childhood Education, School Age Education, or related field
• Proven ability to manage school-aged children with additional behavioural needs
• Strong communication skills, especially in parent engagement and team leadership
• Positive energy, resilience, and a proactive mindset
• Previous OSHC experience is highly desirable, but ECE experience with strong behaviour management will be considered
