We are seeking a motivated spinal surgeon to undertake a 12-month fellowship to train in advanced spinal medicine. The Fellow will practice in the sub-specialty of spinal medicine, gaining knowledge & clinical expertise. There will be exposure to complex spinal operating & emerging contemporary surgical techniques & spinal instrumentation. This training fellowship is focused on academic research & clinical opportunity, offering surgical skill acquisition under supervision. Research needs will be uncovered & a theme of spinal research developed with contribution to study & project design under guidance. Educational activities and preparation of papers for presentation and publication will be key outcomes. Candidates should possess: FRACS or equivalent international specialty board recognition in orthopaedic surgery or neurosurgery.

Remuneration: $135,000 per annum plus Superannuation
