- Registered Nurse Level 4: $134,012 - $151,993 per annum + Superannuation or Health Professional Level 4: $133,123 - $154,424 per annum+ Superannuation

About the program
The Southern Wellbeing Hub is a service for people who are experiencing mental health concerns. The service delivery reflects principals of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery Oriented practice.
The Southern Wellbeing Hub service provides a holistic approach to care, addressing a range of social, physical, and emotional needs informed by Collaborative Relational Practice (CRP) and supported by best practice in evidence-based and evidence informed care. Individuals can access psychological services across the stepped care continuum, incorporating a lived experienced worker as first contact and throughout the service as part of the model of care.
Services range from low intensity therapeutic support, for people presenting with mild mental health conditions, to psychological therapies for people with mild to moderate conditions. Individuals with chronic and complex mental health conditions can receive clinical care coordination, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) groups, and peer support services.
About your new role
The Clinical Service Manager (CSM) will ensure the Southern Wellbeing Hub provides safe and effective, immediate, and short to medium term responses to people experiencing severe and/or complex mental health issues. As the CSM you will initiate, lead, and coordinate strategic partnerships within the community, including Area Mental Health Services, Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services, local government, community housing, and health and welfare providers, to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for consumers. In collaboration with partners, staff, and consumers, the CSM will identify service gaps in the local community and develop appropriate models of service delivery to address these gaps.
The CSM will take a lead role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Southern Wellbeing Hub with the support of the Senior Manager Operations.
The CSM will ensure services are provided in an accessible manner with mechanisms in place to regularly monitor the level of access achieved. The CSM will provide operational management and clinical leadership to the multi-disciplinary team, maintaining a culture within the workplace that promotes Dignity, Respect, and Inclusion for all.
The CSM will be a Registered Psychologist, MH Nurse, or Social Worker and will be expected to deliver psychological therapies as part of their position, drawing on discipline specific skills, to provide high quality interventions aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing outcomes for consumers. The CSM will be active in developing and maintaining strong relationships within the community and build inclusive opportunities for consumer and carer input into service design. The CSM will promote quality improvement activities that leads to the further development and growth of services and programs that meet identified consumer needs.
What you will bring to the role
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupationational Therapy
- Current full registration as a Registered Nurse with current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) essential
- Current full registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) essential, or full registration as a Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) > or be eligible to hold membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Experience working in cross cultural settings, especially with first nations people
- Experience working within a recovery-orientated service
- Excellent communicaiton skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Computer literacy and written communication skils
Desirable
- Experience providing leadership to Lived Experience workforce
