Nara Community Early Learning Centre is a community-based, non-profit establishment dedicated to early childhood education and care. Located in Preston, Nara accommodates up to 68 children. We are proud to be rated as an Exceeding National Quality Standard.
We believe that instilling a love of learning is one of the greatest gifts we can offer a child. Therefore, our objective is to foster a lifelong passion for learning by creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for children, families, and the community where they can grow, develop, and learn.
We deliver 3- and 4-year-old Kindergarten integrated programs. We are seeking one full-time Bachelor of Early Childhood Education to join our team. The candidate should have previous experience, strong communication skills, motivation, and commitment to early childhood education and care.
The role of Early Childhood Educator is:
· Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Learning Framework (EYLF), and National Quality Standards (NQS).
· Ensure full adherence to and compliance with National Regulations, Law, Victoria Child Safe Standards, and Nara policies and procedures.
· Cultivate and uphold strong, respectful relationships between educators, families, and children.
· Design and implement a play-based program that is aligned with the curriculum to promote children's learning and development.
· Collaborate in a cooperative, flexible, and professional manner with children, parents, staff, other professionals, and management.
· Exhibit well-developed self-motivation skills and initiative, alongside a demonstrated commitment to high-quality professional development and reflective practice.
Applicants must have:
Bachelor of Early Childhood of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA recognised),
· A Current WWCC and Police Check
· Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Child Protection and Food handler Certificates.
· High Level of written and verbal communication
· Must be a permanent Australian resident or have rights to work in Australia
