What we offer

Smartscan Locators is excited to be looking for an experienced utility locator to join our team. We are looking for an individual with ambition to grow into our business culture and become a leader within our tight knit working unit. You will also have the opportunity to work on large infrastructure projects, geotech investigations, design projects and small locate jobs for many purposes. You will have the opportunity to cross skill within the business.

What we require

Experience undertaking Locate jobs independently. Working through Locating methodology and troubleshooting in various job settings and locations. Being able to assess the clients scope for potential utility strike risks and managing them.

Able to manage your own job schedule, inform clients of delays. Completing job dockets and any reporting as required

Become a leader! provide feedback to management, innovate, be part of the team. Learn other skills within the business or teach us yours.

Essentials - Drivers Licence, White card.

DBYD Cert and RIW card are preferable

Extra desired skillsets and experience

- Utility infrastructure/Civil Works

- Survey/GIS

- Concrete cutting/coring

- Non-Destructive digging

- Computer skills - Drafting, Graphic Design etc

- Project management

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

-Salary to be discussed on application. Above award rate
