SINOBOOM is a global original equipment manufacturer, specializing in the design, manufacture, sales and service support of elevating work platforms and telehandlers. Selling in over 70 countries around the world.

We are now seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our growing technical team. The role will be reporting to Service Supervisor_NSW.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with the assembly, adjustment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with the manufacturers' requirements and Australian Standards.

Perform equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and component replacements, while maintaining accurate records of operational data and service activities.

Conduct functional tests on mechanical systems, support data analysis, and contribute to the preparation of technical reports for internal review and process improvement.

Collaborate with engineering staff in design updates and modifications, providing feedback from assembly and testing stages to support continuous development.

Support the preparation and revision of mechanical drawings and technical documentation under engineer supervision, ensuring version control and document integrity.

To be successful in this role you must:

At least 2 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or technical support.

Hold at least Advanced Diploma, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

High attention to details

EWP, Cranes, Earthmoving, automotive, hire experience highly regarded.

EWP and forklift related license are preferred but not essential.

Salary range: $75k to $90k per annum plus all statutory welfares.
