Industrial Service/Project Mechanical Technician

Our local subsidiary, Loedige Australia, is seeking a motivated Mechanical Fitter, willing to work as part of a site-based residential service/project team. You will be expected to work with machines/automated systems in secured environments, fulfilling the following roles:

Preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy duty machines and automated systems, which will include working on mechanical systems.

Mechanical fault finding on non/automated systems for equipment such as elevating transfer vehicles, powered roller decks, scissor lifts and hoists.

Assisting your team to ensure maximum system availability for the customer.

Working towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving the way of working and our processes on site.

Installation of mechanical machines as per instructions of site engineer/manager.

Reading and interpreting mechanical as-builts/shop drawings to ensure the proper installation of mechanical machines/systems.

Actively engage and support aspects of site works such as equipment installation, testing, commissioning and site co-ordination.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications: Qualified Fitter or equivalent experience with relevant equipment.

Security Clearances: Ability to pass Federal Police Checks and obtain an ASIC Card.

Testing: Must pass a Drug & Alcohol Test.

EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights, and Confined Space are advantageous.

Basic welding repairs are a plus.
