Provide strong project coordination and management skills to the Senior Management team of the TAFE Faculty.
About the Position
As the Project Administrator, you will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Management team of TAFE, by managing various aspects of project coordination. This includes quote development, preparing tenders, invoicing, managing contracts, and engaging with stakeholders. The Project Administrator will also be responsible for supporting staff in financial processes and providing day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the Pro-Vice Chancellor (TAFE) Office.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Relevant experience or tertiary education in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional correspondence and reports that align with CDU’s branding and communication standards and confidently liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for project-related inquiries and ensuring high standards of customer service and collaboration.
- Strong financial administration skills, including generating and processing invoices, reconciling financial discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records in collaboration with finance teams.
- High-level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, track progress of multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant digital tools and systems, including Microsoft Office suite, financial systems, and project management tools, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies as required.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and provide practical solutions in support of organisational goals.
- Experience in the vocational education and training (VET) sector is desirable

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 6. The base salary will be in the range of $86,629 - $92,329 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $101,355 - $108,024 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
