Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Research Fellow - Simulation Engineering to join School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
The Artificial Heart Frontiers Program (AHFP) is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a specialisation in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The position will support the development of a mechanical circulatory support device to treat patients with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a medical device, aiming to improve patient outcomes. The Artificial Heart Frontiers Program has been developing artificial hearts and related technologies over the last decade or more. We have teamed with leading academic, healthcare and industry partners to launch a new program to develop the world’s most advanced artificial heart, and the next generation of cardiovascular technology to support all patients with heart failure. Our program is co-directed by Prof Shaun Gregory (Queensland University of Technology) and Prof David Kaye (Monash University).
