ROLE EXPECTATIONS
This is a high-impact role where your efforts will directly influence the company’s expansion and success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a targeted sales strategy to drive growth across Melbourne
- Identifying business opportunities in new builds, renovations, and commercial projects
- Pursuing and securing new leads while growing a strong, loyal client base
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and developers
- Representing the brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Understanding each client’s needs and providing tailored bathroom and tapware solutions
- Offering expert advice on product selections, trends, and functional design
- Managing projects from concept to delivery, ensuring quality outcomes and client satisfaction
CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS
We’re looking for someone with a proven background in sales — ideally within the construction, plumbing, or building supplies industry. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience in a senior sales or business development position
- A successful track record in winning new business and driving revenue
- Knowledge of bathroom products, plumbing fixtures, or tapware is highly regarded
- A driven, self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong client relationships
- Solid negotiation skills and experience navigating longer sales cycles
- Existing industry contacts — particularly among builders and contractors — will be a strong advantage
- Great time management and organisational abilities
- A willingness to continually learn about products, materials, and market trends
