About the Role

We’re seeking a family lawyer with 2+ years’ PAE to take ownership of a diverse mix of family law matters. This is a permanent role (part-time or full-time) reporting directly to the Principal. You’ll enjoy autonomy, support, and variety in a firm that values both people and performance.

Your Key Responsibilities

Manage your own family law matters end-to-end

Provide strategic legal advice and empathetic client support

Represent clients in negotiation, mediation and court

Draft legal correspondence, agreements, and court documents

Contribute to business development, networking and digital content

Collaborate with a small, capable team and referral partners

What You Bring

2+ years PAE with a strong family law focus

Admitted to practice in Australia

Strong communication and drafting skills

Confidence to work independently and proactively

Interest in alternative fee models (we don’t use time sheets!)

Drive, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset

Strong solicitor-advocate skills

Established referral networks

Previous experience with alternative fee models
