The Opportunity:

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and hard working Yard Hand to join a key operation supporting Brisbane’s vital river freight network. This is more than just a labouring job, you’ll be loading ferries, assisting with general maintenance, and playing an essential role in keeping things moving across the Brisbane River.

You'll be based in Murarrie, working Monday to Friday with early starts, great rates, and the potential for long term career progression with one of the most unique transport providers in the country.

What You’ll Be Doing:

🔹 Safely load and unload freight on and off ferries including anything from palletised goods to bulky cargo

🔹 General labouring and cleaning tasks to support the crew and operators

🔹 Assist with ferry maintenance and report any mechanical or safety concerns

🔹 Operate forklifts and other manual handling equipment

🔹 Work closely with your team to meet tight schedules and keep cargo moving efficiently

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Previous experience in a physical, fast paced maintenance environment

✅ Willingness to get stuck in and support wherever needed

✅ Forklift ticket highly regarded

✅ Safety first attitude as you'll be working on the water

✅ Reliable, team oriented and physically fit
