Position: Yard Hand / Boat Lift Operator
Location: Pelican Waters Marina, Sunshine Coast

Pelican Waters Marina is growing rapidly, with more boat owners choosing our facility as their home port. To maintain our high standards of service, we’re looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in the role of Yard Hand / Boat Lift Operator.

This role offers hands-on, outdoor work in a friendly and fast-paced marine environment. You'll play a key part in ensuring the safe handling, maintenance, and movement of customer vessels. This is a casual position that can full time employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a vessel-lifting forklift to move boats in and out of the water

Perform antifoul work, water blasting, and other vessel maintenance tasks

Set boats securely on the hardstand and assist with yard logistics

Fuel vessels and support marina and hardstand operations

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

Requirements:

Proven forklift experience (vessel-lifting forklift preferred)

Basic knowledge of antifoul application and marine maintenance

Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and attention to detail

Team player with good communication skills

Marine industry experience is desirable but not essential
