Yard Hand

This hands-on role involves supporting yard operations and general site duties to keep site clean, safe, and productive.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts (LF) and skid steer loaders (bobcats) to move materials

Assist in material sorting and manual handling tasks

Perform unblocking activities and general yard clean-up (sweeping, shoveling)

Support maintenance teams with ad-hoc duties

Work safely around machinery and maintain site housekeeping

What You Need:

Valid LF Forklift Licence (essential)

Experience operating skid steer loaders (desirable)

Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Commitment to safety and site procedures

Machine Operator / Fitter

You will be part of the team responsible for running and maintaining machinery involved in the packaging of cement and lime products.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate packaging machinery efficiently and safely

Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain smooth operation

Clear machinery jams and troubleshoot issues as required

Conduct routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs

Assist in diagnosing faults and replacing worn components

Support installation and commissioning of new equipment

What You Need:

Proven experience operating packaging machines in an industrial setting

Mechanical aptitude or trade background (e.g., fitting, maintenance)

Ability to follow preventative maintenance procedures

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
