The Role
Are you looking for a start in the Collision Repair Industry at a distributor level? Or are you on the tools and looking for a change? The SAPE Group is seeking a Storeman and customer service officer - Automotive to join our team based in Burpengary QLD, Australia.

As part of a close-knit team, you will be involved in the day-to-day customer service activity that includes face-to-face, phone and email communication while supporting the warehouse in picking all trade orders. You will also liaise with SAPE Sales Representatives to process inbound orders in a timely manner.

The role consists of the following duties:

Storeman duties in picking and packing customer orders

Loading and unloading deliveries

General Warehouse and shop duties

Customer delivery runs

Retail store customer service and sales

Providing sales support to our team sales representatives & technicians

Building strong rapport with customers

A positive and kind attitude

Accurate mixing of automotive paints (training provided)

Panel beating or painting experience would an advantage (not essential)

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous phone-based customer service experience

Confident, engaging and a natural ability to communicate

Resilient and able to overcome challenges

Strong PC experience with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Order processing experience preferred (not essential)

Pronto Stock Management experience preferred (not essential)

Experience in the Automotive Industry retail or trade preferred (not essential)

Truck Licence an advantage
