StarTrack Launceston are seeking an experience Van Driver with multi drop experience. If you enjoy truck driving, customer service and keeping physically active, this is the job for you.

About the role

• Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries at the facility
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
• Driving our Vans between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and adhoc pick-ups
• Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

You’ll also need to

• Have full working rights
• Hold a valid manual C Class license - MR preferred
• Hold a forklift licence is advantageous
• Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a van.
• Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
• Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
• You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
• Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
