About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Access Assistant Program team within 3D Health as a Registered Nurse, where you will be responsible for:

• Providing direct nursing care and health support to children with complex health and disability needs in educational settings.
• Managing airway support, enteral nutrition, medication, catheterisation, seizures, and asthma per individualised health plans.
• Collaborating with health professionals, families, and agencies for optimal health outcomes.
• Consolidating knowledge and skills through professional development and experience.
• Accepting accountability for nursing care standards and delegated activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Registered or eligible for registration as a nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice
• Proven experience in working with clients with complex and/or invasive health care including tracheostomies, oxygen therapy and ventilation.
• Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
