We’re on the hunt for an aluminium fabricator/welder to join our team here at Forge. You’ll be working on our range of premium aluminium trays, canopies, internal fitouts, and 12V power systems—all built in-house, start to finish.

We’re offering a casual or contract position, with a 3-month probation. Ready for someone to jump in straight away (but happy to wait for the right fit). You don’t have to be formally qualified, if you’ve got solid skills, a good attitude, and general knowledge of the industry, and enjoy getting stuck into quality work with a family-owned business, then we want to hear from you!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Trade qualified preferred - however not required, as long as you showcase general knowledge/skills within the industry

Confident with aluminium welding

Experience with trays, canopies, or 4x4 builds is a bonus

Strong attention to detail & presentation

Can work solo and as part of a crew

Takes pride in doing the job right

Keen to get involved and bring some energy to the workshop

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF JOB TASKS

Operate CNC plasma table

Operate press brake folder

Welding and fabrication of aluminium components

Sanding and grinding of parts

Pre-assembly of builds and reassembly onto vehicles

Maintain workshop cleanliness and equipment upkeep
