Position Overview

As Plant Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the culture, performance, and future of our facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily plant operations, ensure the highest standards of quality and safety, drive process improvements, and inspire a diverse and dedicated workforce. We are looking for someone who combines operational savvy with a passion for people, innovation, and sustainable business practices.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, equipment maintenance, safety, inventory, and quality control.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, operators, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Ensure all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements are met or exceeded; champion a zero-incident mindset.

Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.

Set performance goals, monitor key metrics (productivity, downtime, waste, etc.), and report on progress to owners.

Work cross-functionally with sales, customer service, and logistics to ensure seamless operations and high levels of client satisfaction.

Maintain and improve preventive maintenance programs for all plant equipment and machinery.

Champion sustainability initiatives, including water and energy conservation, waste reduction, and environmentally responsible practices.

Recruit, train, and retain top talent; recognize and reward high performance.

Identify and implement innovative technologies and best practices to keep the plant competitive and efficient.

Manage budgets, control costs, and participate in annual planning and capital projects.

Represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, and the broader community.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree/tertiary education in operations management, business management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

5+ years of progressive experience in plant management, operations supervision in a commercial laundry strongly preferred.

Proven experience leading teams and achieving operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Knowledge of workplace health & safety, environmental, and regulatory standards relevant to commercial laundry operations.

Proven understanding of chemistry, textiles, RFID & logistics in a commercial laundry operation

Have an operational understanding of the electrical, mechanical and control systems of a commercial laundry

Experience in Commissioning and De-commissioning of laundry equipment

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to drive change, motivate teams, and achieve ambitious goals.

Familiarity with maintenance programs, automation, and modern laundry equipment, in particular Jensen and Lavatec equipment.

Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and capital projects.

A strong understanding of financial accounts and accounting principles.

Demonstrate an understanding of sound HR applications and management in the workplace.

What We Offer

Full-time position.

The salary is between $115,000 & $135,000.
