Ayan Infotech are looking for a Senior Technical BA for an Azure Integration program for one of our clients in Melbourne. Due to the nature of the work involved, we can only consider candidates who hold full unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Title: Sr Tech BA
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid - 2 days in office)
Type: Permanent full time

Required Skills and Experience:
Experience: 10+ years

• Requirements Gathering & Story Writing
• Proficiency in capturing API/Integration-centric requirements from business stakeholders
• Writing clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira

Stakeholder Communication

• Translate technical API/Integration concepts into business-friendly language (optional)
• Act as liaison between product owners, engineering, QA, and external partners

Process Modelling

• Create and interpret data flows, sequence diagrams, and integration maps
• Identify upstream/downstream dependencies

API/Integration Concepts & Tooling

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP status codes
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger (OpenAPI), and API documentation tools
• Understanding of API versioning, security (OAuth, API keys), throttling, etc.

Azure DevOps

• Using Azure Boards for backlog refinement and sprint planning
• Familiarity with Azure Pipelines and release workflows
• Managing work items, queries, and dashboards

Integration Knowledge

• Familiar with Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Function Apps or Service Bus
• Understand integration patterns and data transformation concepts

Data Skills

• Ability to read/write SQL queries for data validation or reporting
• Comfortable working with logs or payloads for troubleshooting

DevOps & Cloud Awareness

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment stages (Dev ? QA ? Prod)
• Awareness of infrastructure-as-code, containers (Docker), and microservices
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, App Insights)

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Adaptability in fast-moving Agile environments
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking
