ROLE SNAPSHOT:

Pre-Sales Engineer where you'll collaborate with sales and engineering teams to design tailored IT solutions to mid-market customers.

Utilise your technical expertise and communication skills to build trust with customers, gather business requirements, and create compelling solution designs that address their needs/solve their problems.

Design a wide variety of solutions spanning Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Networking, Storage, Security & Access Management, and Digital Transformation.

Key elements of the role include:

- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.

- Design scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that meet customer objectives.

- Prepare high-quality Statements of Work (SOWs) to support proposals and implementation.

- Deliver product and solution demonstrations tailored to the customer needs.

- Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate solution effectiveness.

- Become a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.

- Participate in internal and client-facing workshops to support the product development cycle.

- Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant technologies and contribute to best-practice design discussions.

- Support seamless handover to delivery teams through structured documentation and collaboration.

- Full time in office role

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / BACKGROUND / QUALITIES:

Suitable for a junior-mid level Presales Engineer with experience designing complex IT infrastructure, data migration and/or digital transformation projects.

Personality / attitude is key - eagerness to speak up, ask questions, knowledge share, help others, and collaborate to solve customer problems.

The following is required:

- IT Professional Services experience working on complex customer projects.

- Highly effective communication and customer engagement skills.

- Data migration project experience.

- Display excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Comfortable working full time in the office.

- Demonstrated solution design at least on 3 of the following:

o Microsoft 365

o Azure

o AWS

o Active Directory

o Network architecture

o Security and access management

o Storage

o Application integration, data, and infrastructure

o Digital Transformation

This is a full-time permanent role located in near Macquarie Park (free onsite parking) and is offering up to $120,000 - $140,000 (plus super) + bonus potential.
