About the role

Join the dynamic team at Beaudesert Dental Care as a Casual Dental Assistant approximately 4 days per week. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our dentists, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, contributing to the healthcare of patients in Beaudesert.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and providing other chairside support

Preparing treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and equipment, stocking supplies, and ensuring a clean and organised work environment

Greeting patients, updating medical histories, and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit

Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining patient records

Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic dental practice

What we're looking for

Completion of a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients, dentists, and the wider dental team

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive patient information
