Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Narrabri, NSW
Work Type: Contract until late December
Daily rate: $900 - $1000 Per day + Super

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery process of infrastructure and maintenance projects, including both direct control and contract works, to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee investigation and design phases by developing project briefs and cost estimates, managing service providers, and monitoring progress to optimise resources and ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare and review contract documents and technical specifications for road and bridge works to engage contractors and support efficient execution and compliance.
• Implement effective cost management and financial control systems to track project budgets and ensure alignment with financial targets.
• Ensure all project work adheres to established workplace health and safety, environmental, and quality management standards by applying appropriate procedures and collaborating with relevant specialists.

Desirable:

• 3+ Years experience as a Project engineer
• Experience with Maintenance work
