We're looking for a reliable Mill Operator to join our St Arnaud team as a casual employee, working 35+ hours per week. The role involves operating machinery to batch, mix, and process dry animal feed, monitoring systems, and performing general labouring and cleaning tasks. Experience in a production environment and a strong focus on safety and quality are essential.

Responsibilities:

- Operate milling machinery to produce materials according to production schedules and quality standards

- Filling micro ingredient boxes and clean out ingredient bins as needed

- Moving Stock around Mill in accordance with stock control requirements

- Conduct Quality Assurance tests to meet standards

- Keep accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance activities

Qualifications:

-Previous experience as a Mill Operator or similar role (preferred, not essential)

-Forklift License (preferred)

-Assist with equipment maintenance as needed

- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment

- Commitment to safety and following established procedures

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
