Our clients are Australian-owned and operated steel fabricators based in Melbourne's East. They are currently looking for new members to join their team and assist with both the programming and operating of brake press machines. These companies support a wide range of industries, such as heavy-duty truck manufacturing, caravan construction and defence. They are in a position to hire someone immediately.

Your new role

You will be working as a day shift Brake Press Operator, contributing to the seamless production of high-quality steel products that meet their clients' expectations. Your main responsibilities will be the setting, operating and programming of brake press machines.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experienced in operating and programming brake press machines with precision and efficiency
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance to keep operations running smoothly
• Ability to work independently
• Strong focus on safety and quality
