About the Role

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? We're excited to invite a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Gladstone. Part-time hours are also available for those seeking flexibility.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at GCLA, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering personalised clinical care aimed at promoting health and wellness. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading clinical assessments and collaboratively developing care plans with clients, their families, plan partners, and healthcare teams.

Providing guidance and overseeing the clinical practice of Enrolled Nurses.

Offering nursing care to clients with diverse complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management.

Supporting individuals with cognitive impairment, intellectual disability, neuro-disability, complex healthcare requirements, communication challenges, and behavioral issues.

Crafting individualised support plans while upholding the dignity and quality of life of people with disabilities and the elderly.

Maintaining meticulous care notes and records.

Advocating for a compassionate, human-rights-based approach to plan implementation.

Ensuring strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols within the workplace.

Delivering education and training to staff on safeguarding, customer health, well-being requirements, and care plans.

About You

If you are an experienced clinician with a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of those you support, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated experience and qualifications relevant to the role.

A Working with Children Card (Blue Card).

A Working with Adults with Disability Card (Yellow Card) or NDIS Workers Screening Card/Check.

A current Driver's Licence.

Current APHRA registration.
