About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable chef who takes pride in quality, consistency, and clean work. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to execute seasonal menus, maintain high food standards, and keep service running smoothly — even during the brunch stampede.

Your Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present breakfast and lunch menu items to a consistently high standard

Assist with menu development and contribute fresh ideas

Oversee kitchen cleanliness and ensure food safety compliance

Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and help with ordering

Support and mentor junior kitchen staff

Maintain a calm and efficient presence during busy service periods

You’ll Need

Certificate IV (or above) in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent overseas qualification)

Minimum 2 years’ full-time experience as a chef in a commercial kitchen

Knowledge of Australian food safety and OH&S practices

Creativity and a passion for fresh, seasonal food

A team player attitude and calm under pressure

Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and early starts

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or full working rights in Australia
