Are you ready to take the next step in your real estate or administrative career? Selling Homes is seeking a proactive, organised Assistant Property Manager to join our small but growing team in Sumner. This is a part-time opportunity with room to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.
About Us - At Selling Homes, we combine over 50 years of real estate expertise with a genuine, community-first approach. We support property owners, investors, and tenants across Brisbane’s western suburbs with sales, leasing, and full-service property management. Our Sumner-based team is known for personalised service, clear communication, and excellent results.
Your Key Responsibilities - You’ll play a vital support role in our property management division, helping our team deliver efficient, responsive service to clients. Responsibilities include:
Monitoring and managing the team inbox, allocating and responding to emails
Communicating professionally with tenants, owners, and trades/vendors
Generating and sending routine notices, invoices, reminders, and forms
Processing bond lodgements and releases
Scheduling and calendar management for property inspections and key dates
Conducting entry, routine, and exit inspections (training provided)
Conducting open homes and private inspections
Managing rental listings and application processing across platforms
Handling general maintenance requests, coordinating trades and follow-up
Uploading and managing advertising for available properties
Delivering excellent customer service and timely communication at all times
What You’ll Need to Succeed
A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
Strong technology skills – confident using email, online forms, and CRM platforms
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving ability
High attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks independently
A genuine interest in real estate and property management
Highly Advantageous:
A real estate sales registration certificate or licence
Previous experience in real estate or property administration
Familiarity with forms, compliance processes, or the RTA
