You’ll be out on the road just twice a week, conducting room inspections and leasing appointments across Melbourne, while the rest of your time can be managed from the comfort of your home. We’re looking for a motivated and career-minded Assistant Property Manager to join our team, focusing on rooming accommodation and coliving homes.

Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll assist in managing shared / rooming accommodation properties, with responsibilities that include:

Attending and assisting with room inspections (ingoing, outgoing, and routine)

Conducting open homes and viewings for room vacancies

Managing rooming lease sign-ups and renewals

Updating internal systems and rental platforms

Handling general administrative tasks, including reference checks

Supporting the property management team with light tenancy communication and logistics

Assisting with property checks for cleaning, maintenance and resident standards

What You Need to Succeed:

Excellent time management and attention to detail

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn — we're looking for good people who are open to growth and keen to pick up new skills

Strong communication and people skills

Confidence using basic technology and apps (Propertyme, mobile inspection apps)

Ability to work independently and reliably

Valid driver’s licence and your own vehicle

Real Estate Certificate (Agents Rep Certificate) – required

Previous experience in real estate, leasing or inspections (preferred)

A casual role with 10-15 hours per week, with room to grow

Pay rate of $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
