What you'll be doing
Western Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services is seeking a passionate clinician to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting consumers with complex mental health needs on their recovery journey. You will be responsible for:
- Delivering person-centred, recovery-focused care
- Conducting assessments, triage, interventions & care plans
- Collaborating with carers, services & community supports
- Maintaining documentation, engage in supervision & review
- Supporting service development, education and quality improvement

Essential Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
- Registration: Demonstrated full registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist OR for Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
- Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
