K & B Timber & Hardware Pty Ltd is a corporate business with a massive presence in timber and truss manufacturing as well as retail trade and hardware in South Australia. K & B Timber & Hardware Pty Ltd currently expands across 20 sites across SA.

The Role

This is a full-time position available across Monday to Friday and is available for an immediate start.

We are seeking a person to work in our busy distribution site in Edinburgh where they will assist the team in the picking and preparation of customer orders. The person we are seeking will have a positive attitude and be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic.

The successful candidate will need to be a reliable self-starter with a proven history of steady work. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of physical work and understands the demands of working within the building industry; they must be able to work as part of a small team and contribute to the business.

Whilst building industry knowledge would be advantageous, onsite training will be given.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the picking and preparation of customer orders
• Ensure production is accurate and produced on time
• Work with team to reach production budgets
• High awareness of site safety and duty of care for team, staff and site visitors
• Report any machine or tool faults
• Commitment to customer service
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping
• Understand and follow company procedures
• Forklift license desirable but not essential

Whilst building industry knowledge would be advantageous, onsite training will be given.
