About the Opportunity

MyVisa® Australia is looking for a capable and committed Solicitor to join our Sydney-based immigration law team. You’ll be working within a close-knit group of six (6) solicitors, led by Principal Lawyer Nilesh Nandan — a nationally respected immigration specialist with over 25 years of experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

– Prepare and lodge a wide range of visa applications, including partner, protection, skilled, business, and visitor visas
– Conduct in-depth consultations and provide clear, strategic legal advice
– Draft persuasive submissions to the Department of Home Affairs and the AAT
– Undertake legal research on complex statutory and policy frameworks
– Manage case files with a high level of care, accuracy, and ethical compliance
– Actively contribute to team training sessions and professional development programs

What We’re Looking For

– LLB or JD degree with admission (or near admission) as a solicitor in Australia
– 1–3 years of experience in immigration law preferred — training provided for the right candidate
– Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills
– High attention to detail and a strong commitment to client service
– Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team
– Enthusiasm for developing your expertise in Australian immigration law
