Position Title: Clinical Educator - RN (Mental Health)
Classification: NP75 - NP77
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $4,325.60 - $4,658.20
Hours per fortnight: 80 Hours (including ADO every 4 weeks)
Employment Status: Ongoing
Other requirements: 2025 Flu Vaccination

The Role

The key responsibilities and opportunities include:

  • Providing professional support, education, and training to MHWS staff
  • Assisting clinical staff in meeting mandatory and required training and professional development goals
  • Monitoring and advising on standards of practice within MHWS and developing strategies to meet identified needs
  • Contributing to the review of policies and procedures relating to MHWS, to ensure they are per professional standards and best practice
  • Supporting the coordination and preceptorship of student placements in MHWS
  • Developing and teaching in the Graduate and Transition Clinician Programs study days
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing the MHWS professional development programs
  • Supporting and undertaking research projects
  • Delivering specialist mental health training and consultation to internal and external services
